Around 1934 five young men decided to sing Gospel Songs, Dea Clinton Watson Sr. Dea. Will Thrash, Bro. Nathanial Lindsey, Rev. Willie B. Harris and K. Watson, They called themselves The Harmony Kings, sometime later the group name was changed to the Soulful Sunlighters and to this day the name has stayed the same, As time passed four of Dea. Watson sons Joined the group and are still there Spearheading the Soulful Sunlighters, There has been many members in the group threw the years but the group has endured, and travels a lot all over the country, they also have a radio program which can be heard on Sunday on WHIE AM Griffin, Ga
